Homeowners across Pittsburgh often ask if winter is simply too cold for a garage floor coating. Normally, that would be true for many systems. Polyaspartic flooring is different.

This garage floor in Monroeville, PA was installed during one of the coldest stretches on record. Pittsburgh hit negative 15 degrees, and we still completed this floor in a single day.

The before photo shows a typical unfinished concrete garage floor. Stains, discoloration, and a surface that is hard to keep clean. After diamond grinding and installing our polyaspartic coating system, the floor is now smooth, bright, and finished with a high-gloss look that completely changes the space.

Polyaspartic coatings are different from epoxy because they cure quickly and can be installed in a much wider temperature range. That makes them ideal for garage floors in the Pittsburgh area, even in the middle of winter. If cold weather has been holding you back, this Monroeville project shows that winter installations are both dependable and efficient.
